Quarterfinal berths will be decided in the Central American Cup.

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup Group Stage concludes, and the Leagues Cup 2026 Quarterfinals take center stage in This Week in Concacaf.

Here’s what lies ahead this week:

2026 Concacaf Central American Cup

The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues with eight matches to conclude the Group Stage and define who will advance to the Quarterfinals.

The match week features two fixtures on Tuesday, followed by four more on Wednesday and a pair on Thursday.

At the conclusion of the competition, the four semifinalists and the two Play-In winners will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Leagues Cup 2026

Leagues Cup 2026 continues with four Quarterfinal matchups between MLS and Liga MX clubs, as eight teams compete for places in the Semifinals.

CF Monterrey will open the action against Chicago Fire FC on Tuesday, followed by Club León facing Real Salt Lake later that night.

On Wednesday, Deportivo Toluca FC will take on Austin FC before the round concludes with Club América facing Columbus Crew.

At the conclusion of the competition, the two finalists and third-place finisher will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup with the champion qualifying directly to the Round of 16.

eConcacaf debut

The inaugural FIFAe Continental Championship by eConcacaf will kick-off this week. The three-day competition will take place in Mexico City, Mexico, from August 28 to 30, 2026, marking the first centralized, in-person eConcacaf event.

The tournament will bring together the region’s top national teams across three titles: Rocket League, eFootball™ Mobile, and eFootball™ Console. Six nations will compete in each title for regional honors and qualification to the FIFAe Finals.
