Sounders GK Frei earns Scotiabank Best Player Award

SEATTLE, Washington – Thanks to his excellent performances throughout the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League, Stefan Frei of the Seattle Sounders has earned the Scotiabank Best Player Award. The 36-year-old goalkeeper appeared in all eight matches during the tournament for the Sounders, registering four clean sheets, including in the decisive second leg of the Final in Seattle 3-0 win versus Pumas.
