Dominican Republic top Saint Kitts in key Group C clash

MIAMI, Florida – The Dominican Republic stand atop Group C of the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship Qualifiers following a key 5-1 win over Saint Kitts and Nevis on Saturday night at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Saint Kitts and Nevis were first to find the scoresheet, as Devauhn Mills scored in the 33’ to give the Sugar Boyz a 1-0 halftime advantage.

But a strong second half swung things in favor of the host nation, beginning with Juan Peralta’s 1-1 equalizer in the 47’.
