Panama falls to Italy in Futsal Women’s World Cup

MANILA, Philippines – The FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup Philippines 2025 continued with Panama falling 17-nil against Italy in Group D on Sunday at PhilSports Arena in Manila, Philippines.

Italy claimed the victory with goals from Sara Boutimah (3’, 23’, 37’), Greta Ghilardi (10’, 34’), Renata Adamatti (10’, 27’, 34’), Erika Ferrara (15’), Rafaela Dal’Maz (27’, 28’), Gaby Vanelli (31’, 35’), Brenda Bettioli (28’, 35’), Adrieli Berte (36’), Alessia Grieco (40’).

Panama became the second Concacaf nation to make its debut at the inaugural edition of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup, following its runners-up finish in the 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship.

The Central Americans will face Iran as they continue play in Group D on Wednesday.
