Burnet nets late winner

ST. PETERS, Saint Kitts and Nevis – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Curaçao taking a 2-1 win against Saint Kitts and Nevis in Group E on Friday at NBG Technical Center in St. Peters, Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Sherema Blake scored the opening goal in the 1’, placing the hosts ahead from a left-footed shot in the box.

Shi-Jona Martina equalized for Curaçao in the 58’ with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box.

A long shot from outside the box by Amazia Burnet in the 90’+1’ gave Curaçao its first win of the campaign, to finish with a 1-0-3 record and fourth in Group E.

Saint Kitts and Nevis concluded its season in fifth place of Group E with a 0-1-3 record.
