NEW JERSEY.- Haiti and Costa Rica will face off for the top spot in 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup Group B at the Red Bull Arena in the final match of the group on Monday night, with both teams coming off victories in their first two matches in the group against Bermuda and Nicaragua.

As the teams match-up for the third time in the Gold Cup, Costa Rica leads the series with a 2-1 win in the 2002 quarterfinals, followed by a 1-1 draw in the 2007 group stage.

Haiti, who clinched a berth in the quarterfinals with a 2-0 victory over Nicaragua last Thursday, has Steeven Saba and Frantzdy Pierrot as goal scorers for the 2019 Gold Cup edition.

Duckens Nazon, who has yet to score, will be looking to contribute as Haiti pushes to take the top spot of the group. Les Grenadiers have also gone 12 consecutive games without a draw.

Costa Rica, who finished its second match with a 2-1 win against Bermuda, has also gone unbeaten in six of its last seven Gold Cup games.

Los Ticos have scored in eight of its last 10 Gold Cup matches and want to keep their attack consistent. Elias Aguilar, who scored back-to-back goals in both matches for Costa Rica, will need to be lethal in the team’s attack.
