CASTRIES, St. Lucia – Defending-champion St. Lucia named on Friday a 20-man roster for the 2015 Windward Islands Men’s Championship, which it will host starting next week at the Philip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort.
The selection is highlighted by the inclusion of defensive midfielder Sheldon Emmanuel, 35, who was named the country’s 2014 Footballer of the Year.
Joining the side for the first time are defenders Melanius Daniel Mullarkey and Dwight Degazon, who are based in the England and the United States, respectively.
St. Lucia opens its campaign on Tuesday against Dominica, before facing St. Vincent & the Grenadines (May 14) and Grenada (May 16).
