Panama roster named for Guatemala friendly

PANAMA CITY, Panama – Panama head coach Hernan Dario Gomez announced Friday a 19-man roster – comprised exclusively of players locally-based players from the Liga Panameña de Fútbol – for an international friendly on August 10 against Guatemala at the Estadio Maracana.

The squad will convene on Monday for two days of workouts prior to the match, which will serve as a warm-up ahead of the last pair of fourth-round World Cup qualifiers against Group B rivals Jamaica (September 2, home) and Costa Rica (September 6, away).

Tauro FC is providing six players to the national selection, while a combined four are from 2016/17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League participants Arabe Unido and Plaza Amador.
