GEORGETOWN, Guyana -- Guyana named a 23-man squad for its international friendly against visiting St. Lucia on Sunday at Guyana National Stadium in Providence.

Emery Welshman, who scored in his debut (a 2-2 draw against Barbados on February 1), is back, while Canada-based defender Daniel White (20) and midfielder Jermaine Junior (21) will be given opportunities to earn their first caps.

“Today we see one of two new faces in the lineup and measure how they cope in the real international game,” said head coach Jamaal Shabazz.  “An opportunity is there for us to see how we have improved since our last game against Barbados.”

Retaining the captain’s armband is Christopher Nurse.
