MIAMIThe United States reached the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Final for a record 13th time and will meet Mexico for the trophy on July 6 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, USA.

The USA kicked off its quest for a Road to the Final: USA in the 2025 Gold Cup in eighth title with a 3-0-0 record to finish first place in Group D with nine points.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side opened with a 5-nil victory against Trinidad and Tobago, with goals from Malik Tillman, Patrick Agyemang, Brenden Aaronson, and Haji Wright. Tillman’s brace marked the player’s first two goals with the senior national team.

The Stars and Stripes followed up with a 1-nil win over Saudi Arabia, thanks to a lone goal from Chris Richards, and closed the Group Stage with a 2-1 win against Haiti with goals from Tillman and Agyemang.

In the Quarterfinals, the U.S. tied 2-2 against Costa Rica with goals from Diego Luna and Max Arfsten. Matt Freese stopped three attempts as the USA advanced, 4-3, in the penalty shoot-out.

Luna struck a brace to earn the U.S. a 2-1 win against Guatemala in the Semifinals. The result extended an overall unbeaten streak of 16 matches for the U.S. in the Gold Cup.
