MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup will see Guadeloupe make its sixth appearance in the tournament.

 Guadeloupe will feature in Group C with Panama, Jamaica and Guatemala. The team is managed by Jocelyn Angloma for a third consecutive edition.

The nation’s latest qualification came as one of the winners in the 2025 Gold Cup Prelims. The team won 2-nil on aggregate against Nicaragua to book its spot in the summer spectacle.

Florian David scored the lone goal in the first leg to help Guadeloupe win 1-nil at Stade Roger Zami in Le Grosier, Guadeloupe.

 

 

Raphaël Mirval struck in the second leg to win 2-nil on aggregate at Estadio Nacional de Fútbol in Managua, Nicaragua.

The nation’s qualification journey kicked off in Group A of League A in the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League. Guadeloupe finished fifth with a 1-1-2 record and won 7-nil on aggregate against the Cayman Islands in the Concacaf Nations League Play-In to secure a spot in the Gold Cup Prelims.

Guadeloupe’s best finish in the Gold Cup came as semifinalists of the 2007 edition. Angloma was a key member of that squad as a player and led Guadeloupe in scoring with two goals.
