MIAMIThe 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup has concluded its Group Stage, with eight nations remaining in their quest to lift the trophy on July 6.

Many players delivered outstanding performances, yet these eleven stood out the most in their respective positions.

Goalkeeper

Keylor Navas, Costa Rica – The Ticos legend added to his legacy with 11 saves in the Group Stage to help his nation to an undefeated 2-1-0 start.

Niko Sigur, Canada – The 21-year-old defender scored his first goal with the Canadian men’s national team while also contributing with one assist.

Chris Richards, USA – Richards helped The Stars and Stripes to a tournament-low one goal conceded, consecutive clean sheets in its two opening games, and one match-winning goal.

César Montes, Mexico – Montes is Mexico’s leading scorer with three goals from set pieces to go with 14 clearances and seven interceptions.

Fidel Escobar, Panama – Escobar helped Panama to its first perfect campaign in the Group Stage with four tackles, four interceptions, and is the team’s leader with 284 passes.

Midfielders 

Edson Álvarez, Mexico – With one goal and one assist, Mexico’s captain helped his nation to consecutive victories to start its title defense.

Cristian Martínez, Panama – The Panamanian midfielder contributed one goal and one assist in a perfect 3-0-0 start.

Malik Tillman, USA – Tillman scored a brace against Trinidad and Tobago and the go-ahead goal against Haiti to lead the U.S. with three goals and two Player of the Match selections.

 

 

Forwards 

Tajon Buchanan, Canada – Buchanan leads Canada with three goals, including a brace in the nation’s opening match, for an undefeated start. 

Ismael Díaz, Panama – Díaz leads the Top Scorer race in the 2025 edition with five goals, including a brace and a hat-trick in Panama’s opening and closing matches of the Group Stage.

Josimar Alcócer, Costa Rica – Alcócer was pivotal for Costa Rica with two goals in the nation’s two opening matches, striking the match-winner on both occasions.
