CIUDAD GUATEMALA, Guatemala – Comunicaciones FC goalkeeper Kevin Moscoso was named the winner of the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf League’s Allstate Best Goalkeeper Award
after helping the Guatemalan club to the 2021 SCL crown with a 6-3 aggregate victory over
Motagua of Honduras.

Moscoso started in nine of the team’s 10 matches in the tournament and led the 2021 SCL in saves with 34.

The 28-year-old conceded just 10 goals and also registered three clean sheets during the tournament.

“It’s incredible and difficult after everything that has happened to us,” said Moscoso in an exclusive interview with Concacaf.com following Tuesday night’s 4-2 Final second leg victory.

“This trophy is not only mine, it’s a group one because the whole team defends. It’s for all the
goalkeepers, the defenders. It’s for all of them because it’s the award that we have sought day after day,” concluded Moscoso.
