MEXICO CITY – Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera announced Thursday a 22-man roster for his team’s upcoming friendlies in the United States against Chile on September 6, 2014, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and Bolivia on September 9, 2014, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.
The selection is highlighted by the presence of seven players participating in this year’s CONCACAF Champions League, including Club America’s Oribe Peralta – the 2013 CONCACAF Player of the Year.
Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa and attacker Giovani Dos Santos lead a contingent of six foreign-based competitors.
The squad with gather at the Mexican Football Federation’s High Performance Center on August 31 and will travel to the United States one day later.
