WATERFORD, Barbados – Jamaica struck for a pair of second-half goals to defeat host Barbados 2-0 in an international friendly on Sunday at the Barbados National Stadium.  The victory snapped the Reggae Boyz’s 13-game winless streak in full internationals.

Shortly after Barbados center-back Rommel Burgess left the match with an injury, Darren Mattocks and Deshorn Brown scored their first-ever goals in the 75th and 82nd minutes, respectively.

The match was Barbados’ first since it posted a 2-1 win over Aruba on September 27, 2012.

Next for Jamaica is another away friendly against St. Lucia on Wednesday.

NOTES: Jamaica’s last win came against visiting Antigua and Barbuda, 4-1, on October 16, 2012, in a World Cup qualifier.
