SAN SALVADOR -- The Salvadoran Football Federation announced Tuesday that it has scheduled international friendlies for the men’s national team next month in the United States.
El Salvador will play both matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, facing Colombia and Ecuador on October 10 and October 14, respectively.
"We are very pleased, as selectors, that we can schedule these friendlies, since, to our federation, it is vital to make games,” said head coach Albert Rocha. “In that sense, the effort to get this done is of great value.”
The Cuscatlecos are coming off a fourth-place finish earlier this month in the Central American Cup, which qualified them for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
