OTTAWA – Canada will look to extend its unbeaten streak to four-consecutive games, when it meets Colombia in an international friendly on October 14, 2014, at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, USA.  The match, which was announced Wednesday, is part of a doubleheader that also features an encounter between El Salvador and Ecuador.

In their last meeting more than 14 years ago, Canada defeated Colombia 2-0 in the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup final.

After opening the 2014 schedule with 1-1 draws against Bulgaria and Moldova in May, the Canadians downed Jamaica 3-1 on September 9 for their first victory since beating Cuba 3-0 on October 12, 2012.

Canada is also scheduled to play at Panama on November 18, 2014.
