Statement win for Guyana to be first in Group A 

Puerto Rico with key victory against Cayman Islands.

MIAMI – The 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League continued on Sunday with two Group A matches in League B.

Guyana 8, Dominica 1

League B action for the day opened with an 8-1 victory for Guyana over Dominica in Group A at Estadio Centroamericano de Mayagüez in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

Omari Glasgow kicked things off for Guyana with an early goal in the 5’, receiving a threaded ball into space down the left end of the box before striking with a left-footed finish.

Deon Moore and Elliot Bonds then scored from close range in the 18’ and 24’ respectively to extend the lead for the Golden Jaguars.

Glasgow added another for Guyana on a fast break as he sealed his brace in the 33’

In the 53’, Curtez Kellman buried the ball in the top-right corner with an effort from outside the box, before Moore scored his second of the night with a header in the 57’ to score again for Guyana.

Dominica got onto the scoresheet in the 67’ through an impressive long-range hit from near the halfway line from Reon Cuffy.

Guyana rounded out the result in the final stretch as Enoch George scored from the center of the box in the 69’ and Bonds secured his brace in the match in the 75’ with a long-range rocket.

Puerto Rico 1, Cayman Islands 0

Puerto Rico then defeated the Cayman Islands 1-nil in Group A at Estadio Centroamericano de Mayagüez in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

The match remained scoreless until Jeremy de León picked down the right side of the box before striking with a finish to the far post in the 64’ to score the winner for Puerto Rico.
