Saint Lucia secures first win in League B

Victories for Cuba, St. Kitts and Nevis, and St. Lucia in Group B

MIAMI – The 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League continued on Monday with League B group stage fixtures.

Guadeloupe 2, Barbados 2

The League B matchday opened with Guadeloupe and Barbados playing out a 2-2 draw in Group B at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

Djamalee Boisné broke the deadlock at the start of the second half in the 49’, placing Guadeloupe in the lead with a finish to the far post from the left end of the box.

Barbados found two back-to-back goals to turn the scoring around, with Thierry Gale equalizing in the 76’ with a curler to the bottom-right corner from the left side of the box, before Niall Reid-Stephen capped off a team passing sequence with a finish from close range in the 78’.

Boisné brought the score level for Barbados in the 90+1’ as he sealed his brace in the match with a chip over the opposition’s goalkeeper from inside the box.

Cuba 2, Bonaire 0

Cuba secured a 2-nil victory over Bonaire in Group C at NBG Technical Center in St. Peter’s, St. Kitts and Nevis.

Yasnier Matos handed Cuba an early lead in the 3’, breaking into the box with an individual play before slotting the ball at the bottom-right corner.

Cuba doubled its advantage in the second half in the 49’, with Diego Catasus finding the back of the net with a tidy first-time finish from inside the box.

St. Kitts and Nevis 3, Grenada 0

Hosts St. Kitts and Nevis defeated Grenada in a 3-nil score in Group C at NBG Technical Center in St. Peter’s, St. Kitts and Nevis.

Tiquanny Williams delivered a standout performance with three goals for St. Kitts and Nevis, opening the score in the 11’ with a finish from the center of the box before adding another shortly after in the 17’, closing his goal count from the penalty spot in the 76’ to round out the victory.

Saint Lucia 5, Bermuda 2

Saint Lucia delivered a statement 5-2 win against Bermuda in Group B at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

The hosts opened with Keegan Caull bagging a first-half hat trick with strikes in the 15’, 18’, and 35’. Bermuda shortened the deficit through a strike from Ajani Burchall in the 45+1’.

St. Lucia further extended its advantage in the second half with goals from Shevon Byron in the 53’ and Kurt Frederick in the 68’. The visitors added another in the 70’ through Riley Robinson for the final 5-2 scoreline.
