MIAMI – League A Group Stage action in the 2026/2027 Concacaf Nations League continued on Friday with three Group B matches.
Surinam 0, Guatemala 0
The League A matchday opened with Surinam hosting Guatemala in Group B at Dr. Ir. Franklin Essed Stadium in Paramaribo, Surinam.
An even matchup with both sides battling it out in search of a winner ultimately resulted in a goalless draw.
Martinique 2, Honduras 1
The second Group B encounter of the day presented a historic 2-1 win for Martinique over Honduras at Stade Municipal Pierre-Aliker in Fort-de-France, Martinique.
Honduras scored the first goal of the night in the 8’ after Erick Puerto found the back of the net with a header from inside the penalty area.
Martinique equalized in the 40’, with Jonathan Varane striking with a first-time finish from the center of the box to capitalize on a delivery from the left by Janis Antiste.
Jonathan Mexique secured the comeback for Martinique in the 88’ with a right-footed hit from outside the box to the bottom-left corner.
El Salvador 0, Jamaica 2
League A action for the day closed with Jamaica defeating El Salvador 2-nil in Group B at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Javon East broke the deadlock to place Jamaica in the lead in the 39’, with the attacker striking with a right-footed finish from the center of the box following a pinpoint cross by Miguel Frecklton from the left.
East sealed his brace and the win for the Reggae Boyz in the 64’ through a powerful hit to the top-right corner, with the goal notably being assisted by 16-year-old Jahmarie Nolan.
