2026 Caribbean Cup Participating Clubs and Draw Pots Confirmed
The official draw for the 2026 Central American Cup will be conducted on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Miami, FL — Concacaf has confirmed the field of participating clubs that have qualified to compete in the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup and revealed the pots in which each has been allocated for the official draw. The fourth edition of the regional competition will be played between August and December, and serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.
The official draw for the 2026 Caribbean Cup will be conducted on Tuesday, May 26, in Miami, FL. Fans can follow the made-for-TV event on Concacaf’s Broadcast partner networks and the confederation’s YouTube channel starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
PARTICIPATING CLUBS
Thus far, eight out of ten clubs that will participate in the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup have secured a berth based on their performance in their domestic leagues. These clubs are (in alphabetical order by country):
- Dominican Republic (2): Cibao FC, Salcedo FC
- Haiti (1): Violette AC
- Jamaica (2): Cavalier FC, Portmore United FC
- Suriname (1): SV Broki
- Trinidad and Tobago (2): Club Sando FC, Defence Force FC
The two final participating clubs will be determined following the conclusion of the 2026 CFU Caribbean Club Shield in August, with the champions and runners-up joining the Caribbean Cup field.
DRAW PROCEDURES AND POTS
On Tuesday, May 26, Concacaf will conduct the draw for the 2026 Caribbean Cup Group Stage using a single-blind system involving five pots.
The 10 participating clubs have been distributed into five pots based on the Concacaf Club Ranking as of May 25, 2026, as follows:
- Pot 1 (two highest-ranked clubs): Violette AC, Cibao FC
- Pot 2 (two next highest-ranked clubs): Defence Force FC, Cavalier FCç
- Pot 3 (two next highest-ranked clubs): Portmore United FC, Club Sando FC
- Pot 4 (two next highest-ranked clubs): Salcedo FC, SV Broki
- Pot 5: 2026 CFU Club Shield Champion and Runner-Up
The draw will begin by randomly selecting a sphere from Pot 1 and placing that club in Group A, position A1. The next sphere will be drawn from Pot 1 and allocated to Group B, position B1.
This process will be replicated for Pots 2 through 5, assigning clubs sequentially to Groups A and B.
At the conclusion of the draw, each group will contain one club from each pot.
COMPETITION FORMAT
The tournament will begin with a Group Stage comprising two groups of five clubs each. Clubs will play each other team in their group once, for a total of four matches per club (two home and two away) across five scheduled weeks.
Following the conclusion of the Group Stage, the top two finishers in each group will advance to the Knockout Stage, which will consist of home-and-away series. The stage will begin with the Semifinals and conclude with the Third Place matches and Final, where the Caribbean’s champion will be crowned.

CLUB RANKING UPDATE
Violette AC (1,083) enters the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup draw as the highest-ranked club in the Caribbean according to the latest Concacaf Club Rankings as of May 25, 2026.
Cibao FC (1,057) climbed two positions to strengthen its place among the Caribbean’s top clubs and joins Violette AC in Pot 1 for the draw. Defence Force FC (1,051), meanwhile, fell two places but maintained its position within the top five in the Caribbean, and secured a spot in Pot 2.
Among the clubs participating in the 2026 Caribbean Cup, Jamaica’s Cavalier FC (1,030) and Portmore United FC (1,029) posted notable gains in the latest update, moving up 10 and 12 places, respectively
