A fresh new slate of faces now play for the Whitecaps, who will be out to avenge that defeat from nearly eight years ago. Vancouver are in their fourth Champions Cup and second in a row after reaching the quarterfinals in 2023.

When it comes to the Whitecaps, all eyes are on their dynamic duo in attack, Brian White and Ryan Gauld.

White scored 16 goals during the 2023 MLS season and also had two scores in last season’s Champions Cup Round of 16 win against Real Espana of Honduras.

Meanwhile, Gauld had 11 goals last season in MLS and featured in three Champions Cup matches last year.

Tigres once again boast an immensely dangerous team that is long on Champions Cup experience.
