The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 12 teams — the winners and runners-up from each Second-Round group. These teams will be split into three groups of four. The qualified nations listed alphabetically are Bermuda, Costa Rica, Curacao, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
DATES AND FORMAT
The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 12 teams, divided into three groups of four. During the FIFA Match Windows in September, October, and November 2025, each team will face the others in its group both home and away, playing a total of six matches.
At the end of the Final Round, the three group winners will qualify directly for the FIFA World Cup 2026, joining co-hosts Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Additionally, the two best second-place finishers will advance to the FIFA Play-Off Tournament, scheduled for March 2026.
For the first time in history, the Concacaf region could be represented by up to eight teams at the men’s FIFA World Cup.
OFFICIAL DRAW POTS AND PROCEDURES
Concacaf will conduct the official draw for the Final Round on Thursday, June 12, 2025. The draw will be executed using a single-blind system involving four pots. The participating 12 teams have been distributed into the pots according to the FIFA Men’s National Team Rankings of June 2025 (published after the FIFA Window), as follows:
Pot 1(three highest-ranked teams): Panama (1), Costa Rica (2), Jamaica (3)
Pot 2 (next three highest-ranked teams): Honduras (4), El Salvador (5), Curacao (6)
Pot 3 (next three highest-ranked teams): Haiti (7), Trinidad and Tobago (8), Guatemala (9)
Pot 4 (three lowest-ranked teams): Nicaragua (10), Suriname (11), Bermuda (12)
The draw will begin with Pot 1. The first team drawn will be placed in Group A, position A1; the second team in Group B, position B1, and the third team in Group C, position C1. The same process will be followed for Pots 2, 3, and 4, assigning teams sequentially to Groups A, B, and C. At the conclusion of the draw, each group will consist of four teams, with one team from each pot.
The Road to the FIFA World Cup 2026 for Concacaf Member Associations includes a total of three rounds and kicked off in March 2024. The opening stage saw the four lowest-ranked teams compete for two available berths in the Second Round. After home-and-away play, the British Virgin Islands and Anguilla emerged victorious, securing their places in the next phase of the qualifiers.
The Second Round featured the two Round One winners and the Confederation’s remaining 28 Member Associations that are also FIFA Members (excluding the three World Cup hosts: Canada, Mexico, and the United States).
Play began in June of last year with the first thirty matches and concluded this week. Each team played a total of four matches, two at home and two away, with the group winners and runners-up — 12 teams in total — advancing to the Final Round.
