SAINT CROIX, U.S. Virgin Islands – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers officially kicked off with the U.S. Virgin Islands winning 3-1 against Saint Lucia in Group A on Tuesday at Bethlehem Soccer Complex in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The U.S. Virgin Islands opened the scoring in the 10’ when Naya Vialva scored a right-footed banger from outside the area.

Lita Frost extended the lead for the hosts in the 33’, striking a header off a corner kick.

Saint Lucia pulled one back in the 44’ through Krysan St. Louis, who received an assist in the box to send a right-footed volley past goalkeeper Jenna Rehm.

The USVI struck again in the first minutes of the second half as Reagan Hood got the third for the hosts in the 49’.

Arnicka Louis had a penalty attempt for Saint Lucia in the 90’+1’ but was denied by Rehm, as the USVI secured its first three points in Group A.

Both nations will resume their campaigns during the March international match window.
