SAINT CROIX, U.S. Virgin Islands – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Puerto Rico winning 9-nil against the U.S. Virgin Islands in Group A on Thursday at Bethlehem Soccer Stadium in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

A free kick from Jill Aguilera opened the scoring in the 35’ to place Las Boricuas in front.

Danielle Marcano doubled the lead through a penalty kick in the 38’. Maria Tapia joined the scoresheet in the 41’, followed by Estefanía González in the 45’, before Marcano collected her brace in the 45'+4’.

Cristina Torres continued the scoring in the second half, sealing the sixth goal of the match in the 55’. Aguilera secured her brace in the 82’, before González did the same in the 90'+1’.

Verónica García closed the scoring with Puerto Rico’s ninth goal of the night in the 90’+3’.

Puerto Rico will seek its fourth win in a row, and solidify a first-place finish, when it meets Mexico on April 19. The U.S. Virgin Islands take on Mexico on April 11.
