BAYAMÓN, Puerto Rico — The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continued with Puerto Rico earning a 7-nil win against Saint Lucia in Group A on Monday at Estadio Juán Rámon Loubriel in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
Captain Jill Aguilera led the way with four goals for the hosts. She opened the scoring in the 4’ with a header at the back post off of a high cross from Danielle Marcano.
Marcano got on the board herself in the 12’ as she got in the middle of the area and ripped a blast.
In the 18’, Jailene De Jesus added to the advantage, as her shot from close range was slightly deflected past the keeper.
Aguilera got her second of the game in the 39’ after receiving a ball over the top and putting it away.
Up by four at half time, Puerto Rico didn’t slow down as Cristina Torres tapped in a cross from Jaydah Bedoya in the 64’ to extend the lead.
Aguilera notched her hat trick in the 74’ and then netted her fourth goal of the night four minutes later.
Puerto Rico will take on Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the end of February. Saint Lucia will retake the field against Mexico during the March fixtures.
