Haiti’s lone match ended with a 1-0 triumph over Costa Rica thanks to a goal from Nerilia Mondesir.

MIAMI, Florida – League A of the Road to W Gold Cup continues on Thursday with Haiti paying a visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis in Group C action at the SKNFA Technical Centre in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Haiti currently sit second in the three-time group but can rise to the top and take a three-point lead over Costa Rica with a victory.

Haiti’s lone match ended with a 1-0 triumph over Costa Rica thanks to a goal from Nerilia Mondesir. Roselord Borgella was also a key piece in attack by taking four shots and suppling the assist on Mondesir’s goal.

GK Nahomie Ambroise was solid as ever, making four saves and a clearance to keep the clean sheet.

Being back in front of the home fans may be just the remedy for a Saint Kitts and Nevis side that is looking to rebound from their 11-0 defeat to Costa Rica to open the tournament.

The attacking players are there to get the job done, like Phoenetia Browne, who had a shot against the Ticas, and Jahzara Claxton, owner of three goals during 2022 Concacaf W Championship Qualifying.
