MIAMI.- Four League B matches kick off the opening day of the 2023 Concacaf Road to W Gold Cup on Wednesday. The eight teams in Groups A and B will look to get started with a winning tune in the race for the playoffs.

The road to the W Gold Cup for League B teams is by winning their groups to advance to a playoff against a second-place team from League A.

A win in the playoffs would secure a spot among the 12 participating nations in next year’s tournament.

Dominica vs. Suriname

Dominica welcomes Suriname at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau, Dominica. Rising star Starr Humphreys is part of an ambitious Dominica roster that looks to use their home field advantage in the opening match to secure three points. Kylee Bertrand and Kasika Samuel will look to provide experience up the spine of the Dominica contingent to help contain Suriname.

Brenda Ceren, sister of El Salvador men’s national team all-time appearances leader Darwin Ceren, will look to write her own history with La Selecta with a road result that could give them a head start in the qualification race.
