A fight for the top of Group B is the lone League B match of the day. Separated by two points, hosts Honduras could overtake their Central American counterparts for the first place and the playoff berth that comes with it.
El Salvador will be a tough opponent, as it not only arrives with a 2-0-0 record, but outscored opponents 12-1 during its two matches.
Brenda Ceren was the catalyst of the offense with three goals and one assist. Samaria Gomez and Danya Gutierrez also earned doubles during the first two matches, while goalkeeper Idalia Serrano earned a clean sheet against Martinique.
