MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship continues Thursday with the conclusion of the Group Stage at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Mexico and Panama secured their place in the tournament semifinals with victories in Group A on Wednesday. The other two berths among the final four will be decided on Thursday, as the United States, Costa Rica, and Canada vie to finish among the top two in Group B.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the semifinals. The two finalists will represent Concacaf at the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup.

Group A

Panama vs. Mexico
First place in Group A will be decided when Panama and Mexico meet for the top spot.

Panama earned its second win with a 4-3 victory against Guatemala. Gloria Saenz scored a brace to help Las Canaleras secure a place in the semifinals.

Mexico also sealed its place in the next round with a 4-1 win against Cuba. Xanic Benítez, Itzel Cruz and Rosa Aguiar, all got on the scoresheet to propel a comeback effort in the second period.

Guatemala vs. Cuba 

 Hosts Guatemala and Cuba will seek to depart the tournament with their first victory of the campaign.

Guatemala fell short of a comeback in a 4-3 loss to Panama. Grecia Santizo, Katherine Garzaro and Andrea Chajon were the scorers for La Bicolor. Cuba took the lead against Mexico with a goal from Nahomi Aguilar before allowing four unanswered to fall in the second half.

Group B

 Costa Rica vs. Honduras

 Central American rivals Costa Rica and Honduras will write a new chapter in their history, facing off for the first time at the W Futsal Championship.

Costa Rica secured a point against the United States to keep pace for the top spot. Yerlin Varela and Tatiana Cascante struck in the 2-2 draw. Honduras will seek its first win in the tournament after a 6-nil defeat to Canada.

United States vs. Canada 

The United States and Canada bring their North American rivalry to the W Futsal Championship, with winner-take-all in the race for a semifinal berth.

The United States drew 2-2 with Costa Rica, keeping both teams even at four points with the U.S. ahead on goal difference at the top of the group. Sarah Martin was a key player once again, scoring a brace to increase her tally to five as the tournament leader.

Canada secured its first win in a 6-nil result against Honduras. The U.S.-Costa Rica draw placed The Canucks within one point of the top spot heading into the final group matchday.

Esther Brossard and Cynthia Gaspar-Freire, both earned a brace as Canada arrives with an offensive rhythm.
