MIAMI – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup continues with the Washington Spirit hosting CF Monterrey Femenil in Group B on Wednesday at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., USA.
Washington Spirit arrives at their last Group Stage match with a record of 2-1-0, having an outstanding debut in the competition, and need only a draw to seal their place among the last four. Former Monterrey captain and club legend Rebeca Bernal could don the Spirit jersey against her former team for the first time.
CF Monterrey enters as third place in the group with a 2-0-1 mark and could advance to the Semifinals with a victory. Rayadas bounced back from losing its opening match of the Group Stage against Gotham, with consecutive victories, defeating Alianza Women FC and Vancouver Rise FC Academy.
This encounter will feature several players in the race for the Top Scorer Award. Rosemonde Kouassi of the Spirit and Rayadas’ Alice Soto each have three goals to tie for the second-most. Trinity Rodman (WAS) and Emily Gielnik (MTY) are not far behind with two goals each.
