GUADALUPE, Mexico – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup continued with CF Monterrey Femenil securing an 8-nil win over Alianza Women FC in Group B on Wednesday at Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Day Silva opened the scoring in the 13’, ready in the box to send a header to the back of the net and place the hosts in front.
Monterrey’s second goal came from the boots of Diana Evangelista in the 27’ after a great collective play that allowed her to finish with a right-footed shot.
Jermaine Seoposenwe added the third of the night for Rayadas with a header in the area in the 32’.
Alice Soto scored the fourth goal for the Mexican side with a right-footed shot in the 45’.
An own goal by goalkeeper Samantha Valadez in 57’ meant the fifth goal of the encounter.
Katty Martinez added her name to the score sheet in the 79’ with a header in the box, the sixth for the four-time Liga MX Femenil winners.
Soto put a bow on the victory by collecting a hat-trick, first securing her brace with a right heel shot in the 80’, followed by a long left-footed volley from outside the area in the 85’.
Rayadas earned its first victory to improve to 1-0-1 in the campaign. CF Monterrey Femenil will return to W Champions Cup action on October 2 against Vancouver Rise FC Academy.
Alianza Women FC will play its last Group Stage game at Vancouver Rise FC Academy on October 16.
