Miami, FL – Concacaf has confirmed the list of 10 clubs that will compete in the 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup. The second edition of the Confederation’s annual tournament includes 10 of the region’s best clubs and crowns the Confederation’s women’s club champion.

The winner of this elite tournament will secure a spot in the 2027 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, an annual tournament featuring the champions of each confederation, and in the inaugural FIFA Women’s Club World Cup, set to debut in 2028. The 2025/26 W Champions Cup draw will take place on Tuesday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The made-for-tv live event will be widely available for fans across the region and the world to follow and enjoy through Concacaf's YouTube channel and the tournament’s TV partner networks. 

PARTICIPATING CLUBS

Clubs qualify for the Concacaf W Champions Cup based on the qualification criteria proposed by each Member Association, which meet the Confederation’s eligibility criteria and are approved by the Concacaf Council.  

For the 2025/26 edition, these six Member Associations and 10 clubs are, in alphabetical order by country. 

Canada (1): Vancouver Rise FC Academy 
Costa Rica (1): LD Alajuelense 
El Salvador (1): Alianza Women FC
Mexico (3): CF Monterrey Femenil, CF Pachuca Femenil, and Club America Femenil  
Panama (1): FC Chorrillo
United States (3): NJ/NY Gotham FC, Orlando Pride, and Washington Spirit

OFFICIAL DRAW POTS AND PROCEDURES

In accordance with the competition regulations and the new Concacaf Women’s club Rankings, the participating clubs will be split into five pots as follows:

Pot 1  (two top-ranked clubs): NJ/NY Gotham FC and Club America Femenil
Pot 2 (Next two highest-ranked clubs): Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit
Pot 3 (Next two highest-ranked clubs): CF Pachuca Femenil and CF Monterrey Femenil
Pot 4 (Next two highest-ranked clubs): LD Alajuelense and Vancouver Rise FC Academy
Pot 5 (Two lowest-ranked clubs): FC Chorrillo and Alianza Women FC


The draw will begin with Pot 1. The first club drawn will be placed in Group A, position A1, followed by the second club in Group B, position B1. This process will continue with Pots 2 through 5, placing clubs into group positions 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively.

At the conclusion of the draw, each group will consist of five clubs, with no more than one club from each pot per group.

COMPETITION FORMAT AND DATES

The 2025/26 W Champions Cup will kick off with a Group Stage. For this first stage, clubs will be split into two groups of five clubs each, with each club facing every club in their group once, for a total of four matches per club (two at home and two away) in the five scheduled weeks.

Group Stage Week 1: August 19-21, 2025 
Group Stage Week 2: September 2-4, 2025 
Group Stage Week 3: September 16-18, 2025 
Group Stage Week 4: September 30 - October 2, 2025 
Group Stage Week 5: October 14-16, 2025 

At the conclusion of Group Stage play, the top two clubs from each group will progress to the Semifinals of a final four centralized event. The event will include Semifinals, Third Place Match, and Final.  

Finals: May 20-23, 2026
