Chorrillo FC
Chorrillo FC will make its debut in the 2025/26 edition of the Concacaf W Champions Cup, becoming the second club from Panama to participate in the tournament. They secured qualification by winning the Super Final between the 2024 Apertura and Clausura champions. The club, previously known as CD Universitario, had already claimed five domestic titles before their 2025 triumph—winning the league in 2015, 2016, Apertura 2018, Clausura 2019, and Apertura 2019. With their Apertura 2025 title, they ended Santa Fe FC’s streak of back-to-back championships.
Among their standout players is Shaday Mow, who scored the crucial goal in the semifinal against Mario Méndez FC to send the team to the final, and Ivis Ubarte, who netted the championship-winning goal in the final versus Santa Fe FC. Chorrillo was one of the founding teams of the LFF in 2017, later rebranding to CD Universitario before returning under their original name in 2023.
