OTTAWA - Canada is ready to go green for the 100-day countdown to the opening match of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014.  As part of a day-long celebration, select buildings in Edmonton, Toronto, Montréal and Moncton - the four Official Host Cities - will feature a green projection in the evening of Sunday 27 April.

Each city will feature a unique celebration, with Toronto hosting the trophy as well as freestyle demonstrations.  In Edmonton, the local Canada 2014 team will be set up at West Edmonton Mall while near Moncton, there will be activities in Rothsay and Dieppe.

In the evening, the buildings that will be lit green are City Hall and Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton, City Hall in Toronto, Stade Olympique in Montréal, and City Hall in Moncton.

On Monday, celebrations will continue with activities at Moncton City Hall and a mini 3v3 soccer match in Montréal.  The celebrations coincide with a pre-sale ticketing launch via FIFA.com/Canada2014.

The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Canada 2014 will be played August 5-24.
