MIAMI — Concacaf clubs will be in the spotlight this week as the inaugural W Champions Cup kickoff with the preliminary round.

The road to the men’s Champions Cup continues with the Leagues Cup and Central American Cup underway to decide a combined nine berths for the 2025 CCC edition.

Concacaf Central American Cup

The Road to the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with the Concacaf Central American Cup. Twenty of the best teams from the region continue their journey to crown this year’s championship and determine six berths to the next CCC edition.

Concacaf W Champions Cup

The first ever W Concacaf Champions Cup kicks off on Thursday with the preliminary round. Alianza Women F.C. of El Salvador hosts Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Canada at the Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador. The winner moves on to the group stage, which begins on August 20.

Leagues Cup

The 2024 Leagues Cup, which started with all 47 clubs from MLS and Liga MX, has concluded the group stage and is in the heat of the knockout stage. MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew and Liga MX champions Club América entered in the Round of 32 with victories.

The Round of 16 begins Monday night with Seattle Sounders FC hosting Pumas UNAM, and concludes with the bulk of the matches on Tuesday. The winners will move to the quarterfinals to be played on Friday and Saturday.
