EINDHOVEN, Netherlands – Andrés Guardado has joined PSV Eindhoven on loan from Spanish club Valencia for the 2014-15 season.

Valencia officially announced the move on Tuesday.

PSV becomes the Mexico international’s fourth European club.  He previously played for Deportivo de la Coruña (2007-12), Valencia (2012-14) and Bayer Leverkusen (2014 - loan).

Guardado started his professional career with Atlas and has made 108 appearances for Mexico, including four at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.  The 27-year-old will be the third player in Mexican football history to play for PSV, along with Carlos Salcido and Francisco Javier Rodriguez.

“I am very happy and eager to have a great season,” said Guardado.  “I want to play to win titles.”
