BURTON-ON-TRENT, England -- English League Two side Burton Albion announced Wednesday that it has signed Bermuda international goalkeeper Freddy Hall for the remainder of the 2013-14 season.
Hall, whose last club was Canada’s Toronto FC in 2012, has six caps for his country. He made four appearances in 2014 World Cup Qualifying, including Bermuda’s 2-1 win over Trinidad & Tobago on October 7, 2011.
“Freddy has been training with us and he has a good pedigree,” said Burton manager Gary Rowett said. “It will give us a chance to look at him more long-term, he has played at a good level with Toronto FC and this is a chance for him to make a career in England.”
The 29-year-old previously made two appearances in League Two during the 2011-12 season. In 2009, Hall played domestically with the Bermuda Hogges.
