WILLEMSTAD, Curacao – Aruba and Guyana kick off Group C of League B action in the Concacaf Nations League group stage at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curacao.

This will be the first encounter between the two nations since a 3-0 Guyana victory in Caribbean Cup qualifying back in 1992 – their only other meeting.

This match will also pit the two teams that finished highest and lowest in Concacaf Nations League Qualifying out of the 16 that booked a place in League B.

Aruba is no stranger to the Ergilio Hato Stadium, as it is the same venue where it played its home matches during qualifying.

Aruba began CNLQ with a victory, followed by a draw, but their two-loss finish bumped them down to 22nd.

Aruba’s five goals came from five different players in Raymond Baten, Ronald Gomez, Josh Gross, Joshua John and Erik Santos de Gouveia.

Guyana finished seventh in qualifying, earning its first Gold Cup appearance thanks to its top 10 finish.

Emery Welshman was the Golden Jaguars’s top scorer in CNLQ with four, while Neil Danns and Sheldon Holder had three apiece - collectively accounting for 10 of the team’s 14 goals.
