MIAMI, Florida – League C of the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League returns to the field with games in Group A and Group B.

Cayman Islands vs. Aruba

The first match-up of the day pits the Cayman Islands against Aruba in Group B at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands.

The Cayman Islands were part of one of the most thrilling matches thus far of the current CNL, playing to a 2-2 draw at US Virgin Islands on Thursday.

A sensational strike from Jonah Ebanks gave the Cayman Islands their first goal of the evening, while an early second half score from Cameron Gray allowed them to secure a point.

Aruba will be making their debut in this CNL after a second-place group finish in last year’s CNL. Terence Groothusen remains the team’s dangerman, having scored two goals in the 2022-23 tournament.

There has been just one previous meeting between these two sides, coming in the First Round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifying for Qatar 2022 when Aruba emerged with a 3-1 victory.

Saint Martin vs. Bonaire

The second game of the day in League C promises to be a showdown between two of the top strikers in the Caribbean, as Axel Raga and Saint Martin take on Ayrton Cicilia and Bonaire in Group A action at the SKNFA Technical Centre in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Raga, making his Saint Martin National Team debut, delivered a four-goal performance in Saint Martin’s impressive 6-0 opening win at Anguilla.

However, Bonaire also boast an impressive goalscorer in Cicilia, who led his team to the verge of promotion and a Gold Cup Prelims spot with five goals in the 2022-23 CNL.

Bonaire came up just shy of winning their group, so they will be keen to leave no doubt this time around and start with a good result.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two nations.
