MIAMI – League C continues in the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League with three encounters on Tuesday to conclude the September FIFA match window.
Barbados, Belize, and Saint Kitts and Nevis will seek to maintain their positions as the first-place team in Groups A, B, and C, respectively. The British Virgin Islands seeks to attain its first point of the campaign.
Belize vs. Anguilla
Belize meets Anguilla in Group B at TCIFA National Stadium in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. The two nations will meet for the first time in the Concacaf Nations League and in their history.
Jordy Polanco doubled his tally as Belize’s all-time scorer in the tournament to four after collecting a brace in Saturday’s 4-nil victory against Turks and Caicos Islands. Orlando Velásquez and Michael Palacio also scored in the largest margin of victory for Belize in the CNL.
Anguilla looks to build on earning their first CNL win in their opening match against Turks and Caicos Islands. Germain Hughes and Lamar Carpenter struck the goals that led to the historic win.
Barbados vs. U.S. Virgin Islands
Barbados will play the U.S. Virgin Islands in Group A at the Bethlehem Soccer Complex in Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands. The two will face each other for the third time in the CNL after meeting in the first two matchdays of League C of the 2019/20 edition.
With a 3-2 victory over the Bahamas on Saturday, Barbados rose to the top of the group. Zachary Applewhite, Ethan Taylor, and Andre Applewhaite scored for Barbados to secure the three points.
The U.S Virgin Islands drew 3-3 in its opening encounter with the Bahamas and could take first place with a victory. Naqwan Henry, Rakeem Joseph and Gabriel Catone-Highfield scored the goals that earned the U.S.V.I. its first point of the campaign.
Saint Kitts and Nevis vs. British Virgin Islands
Saint Kitts and Nevis face the British Virgin Islands in Group C at the Truman Bodden Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands. The two nations meet for the first time in CNL play.
Tiquanny Williams scored a brace as Saint Kitts and Nevis won 4-1 against the Cayman Islands on Saturday. The victory lifted the nation to first place in its opening match.
The British Virgin Islands is seeking its first victory after falling 1-nil against the Cayman Islands on opening day. Frankie Beckles had two saves in the tightly contested encounter.
