SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic The Dominican Republic will be looking to make a move toward the top of Group B in League B of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League when they face Saint Lucia on Saturday at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The Dominican Republic currently sit in third-place in the four-team group with three points but can put pressure on group rivals Montserrat and El Salvador with a full three points in front of the home fans.

The Caribbean side have already impressed in the tournament when playing at home after registering a 1-0 win over El Salvador in the previous matchday thanks to a goal from Jairo Bueno.

For Saint Lucia, Saturday’s contest concludes a very difficult stretch of three away games to start the CNL, yet the islanders went toe-to-toe in a 3-0 loss at El Salvador before scoring late via Kurt Frederick to earn a 1-1 draw at Montserrat.

A positive result in the Dominican Republic could lay the groundwork for a successful second half of the tournament, with their final three matches to be played at home.
