GROS ISLET, Saint Lucia The Dominican Republic will be looking to keep their promotion and 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup hopes alive when they face Saint Lucia in Group B of League B of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League on Saturday afternoon at the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

The Dominican Republic currently sit in second place in the group, two points behind leaders El Salvador.

With a win, the Dominican Republic would put themselves in position to earn promotion to League A and a ticket to the 2021 Gold Cup in a winner-take-all final matchday clash with the Cuscatlecos.

But first, they must face a Saint Lucia side that has been a tough foe for all in the group.

The Caribbean side may have just one point through four matches, but they have either been tied or trailing by just one goal in all of their matches in this CNL.

The Dominican Republic boast a very balanced attack, as all five goals have been scored by five different players.

Meanwhile, for Saturday’s hosts, the key will be to get the likes of FWs Malik St. Prix and Lester Joseph involved.
