SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican RepublicThe Dominican Republic and Montserrat battled to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday night in Group B of League B in the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Despite the lack of goals, there were plenty of chances for both sides throughout the 90 minutes. The home side was the more aggressive of the two but was unable to find the final ball despite registering 15 shots on goal.

The Montserrat defense, led by GK Corrin Brooks, held firm and managed to thwart the Dominican Republic every time they came forward.

The Dominican Republic defense also had to stay on their toes anytime Montserrat got into the other half, but GK Miguel Lloyd was a steady presence in goal and never was troubled.

With the result, the Dominican Republic are second in the group with seven points, two behind El Salvador, while Montserrat are third with five points.
