MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League continued with two encounters in Group D of League B on Saturday at the ABFA Technical Center in Piggotts, Antigua and Barbuda.

Bermuda and the Dominican Republic faced off in a back-and-forth encounter that ended with a match-winning goal in the ending stretch. Dominica denied a comeback attempt from Antigua and Barbuda to win the group’s second encounter.

The Dominican Republic finished the day in first place on the goals-scored tiebreaker. Dominica begins its campaign in second place with three points in hand.

Bermuda vs. Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic won 3-2 against Bermuda to rise to the top of Group D.

Kane Crichlow opened the scoring in the 17' with a left-footed strike in the box to place Bermuda in front.

Dorny Romero tied the encounter in the 35' with a lob inside the box to send it over the goalkeeper.

Reggie Lambe regained the lead for Bermuda in the 51' with a powerful strike from the left side of the box.

Heinz Mörschel put the match back on level terms in the 62' with a strike from the edge of the penalty area.

Ronaldo Vásquez struck the match-winner in the 84' after connecting inside the box with a service from Dorny Romero.

Dominica vs. Antigua and Barbuda

Dominica won 2-1 against Antigua and Barbuda to earn its first win and keep pace for the top spot in the group.

Chad Bertrand broke the deadlock in the 46' with a rocket from midfield that took a curve into the inside of the crossbar in one of the goals of the matchday.

Javorn Stevens tied the match in the 53' on a second chance ball inside the box.

Travist Joseph restored the lead for Dominica in the 57' with a touch at the far post to meet a pass across from the left side of the box by Troy Jules.

The four nations in Group D will step back on the field on Tuesday. The Dominican Republic will face Dominica in the first match of the day. Antigua and Barbuda will host Bermuda to conclude the second matchday.
