MIAMI - The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues with Panama hosting Suriname in Group A on Tuesday at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.

Panama will eye another win after defeating El Salvador 1-nil on a goal from José Fajardo. The win was a historic one, as it marked Panama’s first victory in El Salvador in Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers.

Panama is second in Group A with five points and an unbeaten record of a win and two draws. A victory would send the nation into first place prior to the November matches.

Suriname visits Panama after drawing 1-1 at home with Guatemala on Friday. A late equalizer from Virgil Misidjan secured the point.

Suriname will look to defend its lead in Group A, with the Caribbean’s currently first due to goal differential.

The encounter will be the second between the nations, both in the Final Round and in their history, following a nil-nil draw on September 4.
