MIAMI — The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues with Trinidad and Tobago hosting Jamaica in Group B on Thursday at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Jamaica (3-0-1) is in command in Group B with nine points and can clinch a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a victory and a Bermuda win over Curaçao. Trinidad and Tobago (1-2-1) currently sit third place in the group with five points.

Trinidad and Tobago will look to continue its positive momentum after earning four points during the October window, keeping its hopes alive for a first-place finish. The Soca Warriors drew 1-1 on the road against Curaçao in its past fixture, with Tyreese Spicer on target in the match. Trinidad and Tobago need a victory to stay in the mix for the direct World Cup berth.

Jamaica most recently secured a 4-nil rout of Bermuda with strikes from Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Shamar Nicholson, Dujuan Richards, and an own goal. Nicholson struck his seventh career goal in the qualifiers, marking the first time he has scored five goals in a single campaign. Nicholson also tied the legendary Theodore Whitmore for third place among Jamaica’s all-time scorers in World Cup Qualifying.

The meeting will be the second between the nations in the Final Round, following a 2-nil win for Jamaica on September 9. This will be the 49th all-time encounter between the Caribbean rivals, with Jamaica leading the series with 21 wins to 15 from Trinidad and Tobago, and 12 draws.
