MIAMI – The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues with Haiti hosting Nicaragua in Group C on Tuesday at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Haiti (2-2-1) is fighting for direct qualification but will need to match or better Honduras on goal difference, in the scenario that both wins. Les Grenadiers can also qualify with a win and a Honduras loss or draw. The nation is coming off a 1-nil victory over Costa Rica to fuel its World Cup hopes. Frantzdy Pierrot scored the winning goal while Johny Placide was integral with six saves and the clean sheet.
Nicaragua (1-1-3) delivered a stunning 2-nil victory over Honduras but the result was not enough to halt elimination. Bancy Hernández and Jaime Moreno will look to continue scoring as La Azul y Blanco ends its campaign.
