MIAMI – The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continues with Bermuda hosting Jamaica in Group B on Friday at the Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire, Bermuda.
This will be Bermuda’s first participation in the Final Round of World Cup qualifiers. Six matches separate the nation from potentially advancing to its first ever World Cup appearance, if it is able to finish first place in Group B.
Jamaica is playing in the Final Round of qualifiers for the sixth time and seeking its second World Cup appearance. Its only World Cup participation came at France 1998.
The Reggae Boyz have sustained great success against Bermuda with five wins and two draws in their seven meetings. The last time the two nations faced off in a World Cup qualifier series was in 1992, which ended with a 3-2 Jamaica win and 1-1 draw.

Bermuda and Jamaica will meet for the eighth time in history, with Jamaica leading the series with five wins and two draws.
In FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, this will be their third meeting. The last was a 1-1 draw in the qualifiers for the United States 1994 World Cup (Elliot Jennings / Paul Davis) on October 25, 1992, at the Bermuda National Stadium, followed by Jamaica’s 3-2 victory (Héctor Wright x2, Roderick Reid / Neil Paynter, Shaun Goater) at the National Stadium in Kingston in Group B of the Second Round.
Jamaica is playing in the Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for the sixth time, having first appeared in England 1966 (3rd place, eliminated, last), France 1998 (3rd place, qualified for their first and only World Cup), Korea & Japan 2002 (5th place, eliminated), Brazil 2014 (6th place, eliminated, last), and Qatar 2022 (6th place, eliminated).
For Bermuda, this will be their first participation in the Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
