MIAMI – Aruba and Belize will seek to end their campaigns on a positive note as the Second Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 continues on Saturday with matches in Groups C and D.

The Road to the 2026 continues for Concacaf nations with the final encounters of the Second Round during the June 2025 match window. The group winners and runners-up will progress to the Third and Final Round.

Aruba vs. Haiti

Aruba hosts Haiti in Group C at Compleho Deportivo Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba.

Aruba will look to close its campaign with a victory after a 1-1 draw with Barbados on Wednesday. Diederick Luydens scored the lone goal for Aruba but the result dashed hopes of advancing to the final round.

Haiti enters as the second-place team in the group and looks to cement its place in the next round. Les Grenadiers opened their campaign with victories against Saint Lucia and Barbados last year.

They will face each other for the first time in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and the fourth time overall in their history. 

The first match was a 1-1 draw on April 8, 1944, in the 4-Nations friendly tournament in Willemstad (CUW). 

Aruba’s goal was scored by Chas Loefstok, while Anthony Rouzier equalized for Haiti.

For Aruba, Roviën Ostiana scored twice (Penalties 14’, 20’) and Jayden Kruydenhof added another (78’).

Belize vs. Panama

Belize hosts Panama in Group D at FFB Field in Belmopan, Belize.

Belize will look to close its campaign with a victory after a 1-nil defeat to Montserrat on Wednesday ended its possibilities to advance. Carlos Bernárdez has struck the lone goal of the qualifiers for The Jaguars.

Panama enters in second place on six points and will seek to solidify its place in the final round. Los Canaleros started their campaign with victories against Guyana and Montserrat and went on to a runner-up finish in the 2025 Concacaf Nations League Finals earlier this year.

FFB Stadium, Belmopan, BLZ

They will meet for the third time in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Panama won both previous encounters. This will be their first meeting in the Group Stage. 

The first match was the first leg of the Group F series in Round 1 of the Central American Zone for the France 1998 World Cup, on June 2, 1996, at the Belize National Stadium in Belize City (BLZ). 

Panama secured a 1-2 comeback victory with goals from Rubén Guevara (57’) and Julio Dely Valdés (61’), after David McCauley (28’) had given Belize the lead. 

The second leg was played at Rommel Fernández Stadium in Panama City (PAN) on June 9, 1996. 

Panama sealed the series with a 4-1 win, with goals from Julio Dely Valdés (14’, 46’, 61’) and Víctor Mendieta (88’). 

For Belize, Denmark Casey (60’) scored the lone goal. Panama won the series with a 6-2 aggregate score.
